Article Submission Software – Thumbs Down on This One

Having just recently purchased Article Submission software, I wanted to pass along my experiences for those who might be considering making this type of purchase in the future. Like most people who use Article Submission software, the reasons I purchased this was, one, to save time by automating much of the information required by the Article Directories, and two, expand my efforts to publish articles across the Internet. Although the software did eliminate some of the information submission tasks, overall it failed to live up to my expectations. The reason I give it a thumbs down are several, as detailed below.

For anyone who has spent time manually submitting articles to Article Directories, you know how time consuming it can be. The thought of being able to hit a few keys and have your article published on numerous web sites is practically Nirvana. After all, a writer likes to spend his time writing, not submitting articles to directories, or some other place. Article Submission software promises to accomplish this but the reality is as follows; when trying to submit a new article to Directory sites the submission software had a nasty habit of loading the previous article. Even deleting and reloading the new article in the Submission software didn’t make a bit of difference, you still had to go in, cut out the old article and paste the new one. This really isn’t much different then manually submitting the articles, and defeats the whole purpose of using the software.

Another one of the stated benefits is that there are hundreds of sites pre-loaded into the software that you can submit to. Unfortunately, many of the sites are either out of business, or so troublesome to load that you tend to get frustrated and move on to the next. While not expecting perfection, it would seem that the majority of the sites would be active, and working. Again, great in concept, a crapper in practice.

Another time consuming issue is the fact that you’ll have to sign up for the majority of the sites when starting out. Although you can use the same username and password for many of the sites, with some you’ll have to use the email generated password which causes problems when trying to move through the sites quickly. Although the software is supposed to remember all of this for you, in my experience it failed to do so, and had me typing in ‘forgot password’ and having to retrieve it through my email. I know it doesn’t sound like a big deal, but when you’re constantly stopping to retrieve passwords, you’re losing time and effectiveness.

If you decide to try Article Submission software be aware that the cost can vary quite a bit. Check around by going to different forums and see what they have to say about this type of software. While I haven’t had any experience with it, I have heard nothing but good things about ‘Article Submitter Pro’. It’s a bit more expensive than many of the others, but as they say, “you get what you pay for”. Perhaps I should have taken that motto to heart before making a purchase!

Being a writer, I would prefer to concentrate my efforts on writing and not spending hours posting my articles to hundreds of sites. Article Submission software boldly promises that you can in fact eliminate much of the dirty work by using this type of software. Although my experience was that in left a lot to be desired, my hope is that my experience is not the norm, and that there is quality software that does indeed do what it claims.

B2B VS B2C Promotion – Your Social Media Attack

Social media is an essential component in marketing for all types of businesses. It does not matter if a business’s customers are businesses or individuals, social media works great for marketing to both groups. There are some differences in approach, and it is important to recognize the difference between business to business (B2B) marketing versus business to consumer (B2C) marketing.

B2B – Typically, the way social media is used to connect with B2B entities is by building associations and groups for them to interact with each other and the product creator. So you might find like-minded professionals meeting in a group on LinkedIn.

Usually the group is put together by a business that sells something to the business people who join. QuickBooks might form a group for accountants. They’ll provide the possibility for professional cooperation, participation in studies, educational content and more to the group in hopes that the members will continue investing in their goods.

B2C – When it comes to business to consumer marketing, social media can be used to announce information to the consumer about the product or company, or even provide customer service to the consumer via social media through user groups. The brand could also form communities based on a particular living style and not be directly marketing to the group, like a cake decorating forum or discussion group formed by Wilson the leading manufacturer of cake decorating supplies for individuals.

In both cases, involvement through social media is very beneficial. It can take the form of professional collaboration, shop talk, and also as a way to disseminate information. It shouldn’t really matter if it’s B2B or B2C; the idea and principle is the same, only the material differs in regards to the audience. The business owners may understand the jargon, while the individual may need to be educated more about the jargon.

But, the objective of each is quite different. In the case of B2C the purpose of making use of social media is to either help the business distribute information to the customer, expand brand awareness to the consumer, or to deliver a platform for customers to network with one another and representatives of your brand. When it comes to B2B the purpose is usually to develop long-term working relationships with the members and increase brand loyalty.

In both cases the goal is to produce content that informs, increases and educates the customer for better engagement. Because when you think about it, even in the case of a B2B situation they’re still also consumers – they just happen to be a little more informed consumers, so the content is going to be a bit different. It’s about knowing your audience and the purpose of utilizing social media.

If you know the audience and you know your purpose, social media will be very useful. If you have no idea what your purposes are and what you would like to accomplish, you will likely not be successful – and even if you were, you wouldn’t know it.

Apple iPhone 4 – Undoubtedly The Coolest Mobile Money Can Buy

There is no doubt that the Apple iPhone 4 is the hottest smartphone to hit stores this year. With a completely re-designed appearance and internal layout, Apple has managed to make a number of improvements on previous iPhone models, making it the most successful product launch for Apple to date.

So how is the iPhone 4 different to the 3GS?

Aesthetic design:
The Apple iPhone 4 has seen a complete design overhaul. The 3GS could be seen as an improvement on the 3G, however the iPhone 4 is a completely new phone altogether. The design is slightly more angular with the soft curves of the 3G and 3GS discarded to make way for a sharper more modern looking handset. It is also made from completely different materials. Rather than the familiar plastic casing of the previous models, a brand new metal and strengthened glass handset gives a feel of premium built quality.

Camera:
The iPhone 4 has a 5 mega pixel camera, a big improvement from its predecessors. As well as the increased pixel resolution, it boasts the ability to shoot HD video in 720p quality. One of the main complaints of iPhone users has always been the lack of a camera flash, so Apple has installed on the iPhone 4. An additional front facing VGA camera is also included which allows easier self portrait photos and the ability to carry out FaceTime video calls. FaceTime is an App which allows two iPhone 4 users to view a live video feed of the person they are talking to, via a 3G network.

Retina Display:
The pixel resolution of the iPhone 4 is so high that individual pixels cannot be perceived by the human eye, hence its name. With a whopping pixel resolution of 640x 960, it is easy to see why the quality of the on screen imagery is so high. This makes it perfect for viewing HD photos and video s in all their glory. At 3.5 inches, the screen is also generously sized and makes for easy touch screen navigation.

The Apple iPhone 4 also includes a seemingly endless list of features as you may expect. From super fast 3G and Wi-Fi internet access, AppStore, iOS 4 and an Apple A4 (1GHz) processor for lightening fast performance, the Apple iPhone 4 really ticks all the boxes. Available in black and white colour variants, and in 16GB and 32GB options, there is no doubt that the Apple iPhone 4 is the coolest phone available.

Computer Puzzle Game

Computer puzzle game is a genre of computer games that emphasize puzzle solving. The types of puzzles involved can involve logic, strategy, pattern recognition, sequence solving, word completion or, in some cases, just pure luck.

A personal computer game (also known as a computer game or simply PC game) is a video game played on a personal computer, rather than on a video game console or arcade machine. Computer games have evolved from the simple graphics and gameplay of early titles like Spacewar!, to a wide range of more visually advanced titles, although the computer game market has been declining in the United States since 1999.

PC games are created by one or more game developers, often in conjunction with other specialists (such as game artists) and either published independently or through a third party publisher. They may then be distributed on physical media such as DVDs and CDs, as Internet-downloadable shareware, or through online delivery services such as Direct2Drive and Steam. PC games often require specialised hardware in the user’s computer in order to play, such as a specific generation of graphics processing unit or an Internet connection for online play, although these system requirements vary from game to game.

Computer games and game addiction are often the subject of criticism, focusing largely on the influence of objectionable content and prolonged gameplay on minors. The Entertainment Software Association and other groups maintain that parents are responsible for moderating their children’s behaviour, although the controversy has prompted attempts to control the sale of certain games in the United States.

A strategy is a long term plan of action designed to achieve a particular goal, most often “winning”. Strategy is differentiated from tactics or immediate actions with resources at hand by its nature of being extensively premeditated, and often practically rehearsed.

The word derives from the Greek word stratēgos, which derives from two words: stratos (army) and ago (ancient Greek for leading or guiding or moving to). Stratēgos referred to a ‘military commander’ during the age of Athenian Democracy.

Logic (from Classical Greek λόγος logos; meaning word, account, reason or principle) is the study of the principles and criteria of valid inference and demonstration.

As a formal science, logic investigates and classifies the structure of statements and arguments, both through the study of formal systems of inference and through the study of arguments in natural language. The scope of logic is therefore large, ranging from core topics such as the study of fallacies and paradoxes, to specialized analyses of reasoning using probability and to arguments involving causality. Logic is also commonly used today in argumentation theory.

Traditionally, logic is studied as a branch of philosophy, one part of the classical trivium, which consisted of grammar, logic, and rhetoric. Since the mid-nineteenth century formal logic has been studied as the foundation of mathematics. In 1903 Bertrand Russell and Alfred North Whitehead established logic as the cornerstone of mathematics with the publication of Principia Mathematica. The development of formal logic and its implementation in computing machinery is the foundation of computer science.

Description

The genre can be difficult to describe: the gameplay is usually abstract (but not always) often involving arranging geometric shapes to fulfill some goal or constraint. Often edge matching or colour matching plays an important role. Puzzle games usually strive to have a pick-up-and-play accessibility to them and to have an addictive quality. They are popular with travelers and commuters for the same general reasons as the airport novel: Low bars to accessibility, moderate levels of personal involvement, and a relatively easy and painless mode of abandoning and reaccessing one’s progress in the event of being jostled or moved. They provide a welcome distraction from the jostling and inconvenience of travel.

Types of game

Some puzzle games feed the player a random assortment of blocks or pieces that they must organize in the correct manner, such as Tetris, Klax and Lumines. Others present a preset game board and/or pieces and challenge the player to solve the puzzle by achieving a goal (Bomberman, The Incredible Machine). Some of the games in the former category have a mode that plays like the latter. For example, in both Tetrisphere and Tetris Attack, there is an actual “puzzle mode” in which the player must clear a pre-defined board within a certain amount of moves.

Some games are not puzzle games, yet contain many puzzle elements, such as Resident Evil, Silent Hill and the Legend of Zelda series.

Because puzzle games are often so abstract, the term is sometimes used as a blanket term for games with unique and otherwise indescribable gameplay. Every Extend Extra is an example of this.

Puzzle games are often easy to develop and adapt: from dedicated arcade units, to home video game consoles, to personal digital assistants and mobile phones.

The game Minesweeper is notable because of the large installed user base (the game comes bundled with the Microsoft Windows operating system).
